Job summary

Actalent is seeking a BIM Coordinator in Charlotte, NC to support BIM documentation and project workflows within a production support team. You will ensure 3D models, drawings, and structural data are maintained and delivered to clients and internal stakeholders.

You'll utilize Revit, AutoCAD and related Autodesk tools, coordinate with designers, run clash detection, and lead coordination meetings to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of BIM and digital processes for design and construction stages.
• Ability to manage 3D models, drawings, and structural data for internal/external clients.
• Experience leading clash detection and coordination meetings.

Responsibilities

• Support BIM documentation and projects within the production support team.
• Ensure 3D models, drawings, and structural data are properly managed and stored.
• Deliver project information models to internal and external clients.
• Conduct morning meetings for updates and coordination.
• Oversee BIM coordination for designated areas.
• Facilitate communication between designers and team members.
• Collaborate with designers to develop solutions.
• Assist in resolving field-related issues with solutions.
• Attend progress and readiness meetings and manage action items.
• Coordinate information flow between field and design groups.
• Update as-built model to capture all data for submission.
• Create clash detection reports and lead meetings.
• Assist technical staff with complex tasks and provide training as needed.
• Participate in BIM strategy calls and kick-off meetings.
• Comply with data protection principles and secure practices.
