Actalent in Raleigh, NC is seeking a BIM Coordinator (Electrical) to lead coordination of electrical systems across complex construction projects. You will integrate field operations with BIM processes to ensure models are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project standards, collaborating with field supervisors, PMs, GC, and other MEP designers.

The role uses Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD to develop electrical BIM models, review clashes, produce constructible docs, and support project

Formación

• Minimum 2+ years of coordination experience, preferably with electrical systems.
• Demonstrated BIM coordination experience on construction projects.
• Proficiency with Revit for electrical modeling and documentation.
• Hands-on Navisworks usage for model review and clash detection.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD for reviewing and producing construction documents.
• Experience modeling electrical systems within a BIM environment.
• Ability to collaborate with general contractors and other MEP designers during coordination.
• Understanding of MEP design principles and how they translate to coordinated models.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in complex electrical models.
• Effective communication with field supervisors, PMs, and design teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead electrical systems coordination efforts, ensuring models are accurate and aligned with project requirements.
• Apply established coordination standards for project coordination and BIM/VDC practices.
• Collaborate with field supervisors and PMs to integrate BIM with field activities and sequencing.
• Work with general contractors and other MEP designers to resolve clashes within BIM.
• Develop and maintain electrical BIM models using Revit and related tools.
• Participate in coordination meetings, present model updates, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Produce coordinated construction documents reflecting resolved clashes and constructible designs.
• Preserve design intent while adapting models to field conditions and constraints.
• Use Navisworks to perform clash detection and document issues and resolutions.
• Contribute to improving BIM workflows by providing feedback on standards and tools.
