Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced professional to lead intelligent modeling coordination for transit and multimodal projects in the United States. You will integrate models across architecture, structural, transportation, roadway, and MEP disciplines to create a federated, clash-checked deliverable set.

The role requires extensive experience with Autodesk tools, strong attention to detail, and the ability to mentor staff across geographies. The position can be based in any CDM Smith US office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with CADD drafting tech training and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Experience coordinating intelligent models across multiple design disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination for transit and multimodal projects across architecture, structures, roadway, and MEP.
• Model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks and coordinating resolutions.
• Establishing and enforcing CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentoring production staff and providing design sketches for deliverables.
• Developing BIM Execution Plans and model-based deliverable scoping.
• Interfacing with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on deliverable requirements.
