Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a highly experienced BIM professional to lead cross-discipline intelligent modeling on transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate models across architecture, structures, transportation, roadway, and MEP to create federated, clash-checked deliverables.

You will run Navisworks clash detection, enforce BIM standards, mentor staff, and collaborate with clients and subconsultants to align requirements and data handoffs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational CADD training.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across design disciplines into a single federated, clash-checked model.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and resolve cross-discipline conflicts.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows per Autodesk guidelines.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Ensure model health, versioning, and interoperability across tools.
