Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Billing Representative I to support patient and third-party billing efforts. The role focuses on accuracy, training, and collaboration with clinicians and IT to improve processes.

The position works Monday through Friday in a structured billing environment, with an hourly pay range of $17.20 to $21.00 and potential annual bonus based on performance and organizational factors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in patient, client or third-party insurance billing preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide training for new and existing team members on reports, SOPs and carrier information.
• Track and trend daily production and quality performance on new hires.
• Identify QC issues for new hires and develop action plans with Team Leader.
• Interpret and communicate billing guidelines to the department.
• Maintain and update departmental rules and SOPs.
• Prepare specialized reports for management and reps.
• Coordinate with IT on billing initiatives and related projects.
