Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Billing Customer Service Representative II to assist members with billing information, guiding them to the right care, and resolving escalated issues. The role requires handling up to 70 calls daily and completing full-time training with a 9-hour shift window.

Starting Oct 5th, the position offers a Monday–Friday schedule between 8:30 AM and 8:00 PM ET, with up-to-date HIPAA compliance and possible performance bonuses based on company factors.

Qualifications

• 1+ years handling high-volume inbound calls in a call center.
• 1+ years in healthcare setting resolving customer health care concerns.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims billing, finance, and eligibility.
• Able to translate medical terminology into plain-language steps.
• Able to work nine-hour shifts Mon-Fri 8:30 AM–8:00 PM ET after training.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume calls from patients or representatives about billing inquiries.
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex billing issues with full resolution.
• Navigate Quest Billing System and related applications.
• Maintain tracking log of all patient contacts.
• Perform additional projects or tasks as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times.
