Responsibilities

• Monitors accurate and timely claims paper and electronic claim submission to maximize claim submission efficiency.
• Ensures accurate review and timely resolution of eligibility, claim, and payer edits.
• Builds a cohesive team that works well together to ensure the work of the team is accomplished.
• Drives efficiencies in process and workflow to maximize the team's ability to submit clean claims to the payer.
• Prioritizes work within Physician Billing and delegates to staff members.
• Provides the training necessary to ensure the physician billers are knowledgeable in the edits they are responsible for.
