Job summary

DistributionNOW is seeking a Billing Support Specialist to review invoices and manually enter data into the customer portal. The role involves handling calls and emails, resolving issues, and ensuring timely follow-ups.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, billing experience in oil & gas, and strong attention to detail. ERP system experience (SAP preferred) and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with oil & gas billing.
• Handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
• ERP system experience (SAP preferred; Oracle, PeopleSoft).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and emails from customers to resolve issues or route for follow-up.
• Assist team members with follow-up calls regarding customer problems.
• Take ownership of each customer communication and ensure follow-up as needed.
• Aggressively pursue collection of past due amounts and negotiate payment plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
