Altom Transport is seeking a Billing Representative to support accurate and timely billing for transportation services. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication to maintain positive customer relationships.

The billing professional will collaborate with customer, finance, and sales teams to ensure accurate invoicing and records, with responsibilities including processing rates, accessorials, discounts, and disputes resolution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a billing representative or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with billing procedures and best practices in transportation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry.
• Strong mathematical skills to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer relationships.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the customer, finance, and sales, to maintain customer accounts.
• Compile and process information such as shipping rates, accessorials, discounts, and any other charges.
• Ensure accurate billing for services provided.
• Issue and distribute invoices via email or mail.
• Communicate with customers to answer billing-related inquiries.
• Resolve disputes between the Company and its customers.
• Maintain accurate records including customer information, rates, and communications.
• Other duties as assigned.
