Job summary

Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. (ECT) is seeking a Billing Specialist to support project-based invoicing and ensure timely, accurate revenue recognition. You will collaborate with project managers and finance professionals to maintain contract compliance and project profitability.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project billing, strong Excel and ERP skills, and excellent attention to detail. ECT offers an ESOP culture where you contribute to shared success and continuous process

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of project billing, project accounting, or related financial role.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with an ERP/accounting software.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and submit accurate client invoices per contract requirements.
Establish new projects and proposal numbers in the project accounting system.
Process project setup changes, budget revisions, and contract modifications.
Analyze project financial data to support revenue recognition and WIP reporting.
Collaborate with Project Managers to resolve billing questions and ensure contract compliance.
Provide project-specific billing guidance and financial support to project teams.
