Job summary

S&ME, Inc. is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our Finance team in a full-time, hybrid role at a location within our footprint.

You will manage project billing, invoicing, WIP reporting, and assist with collections while working closely with project managers to ensure accuracy across the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of project-based billing experience, a High School diploma (An Associate’s in Accounting is a plus), and knowledge of KPI dashboards.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting/Finance a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in project-based billing.
• Experience with KPI reporting and dashboards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up project information and verify contract terms in the accounting system.
• Generate and finalize invoices with attachments and documentation.
• Post and submit invoices to clients per contract terms.
• Assist with collections and monthly reviews; support project completion activities.
