Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a diligent Billing Specialist to support the Billing team with accurate processing of transactions, invoicing for transportation and waste shipments, and timely submissions to customers.

You will interact with multiple departments, customers, and vendors to ensure invoice accuracy. The role requires 2+ years in AR/billing and a high school diploma, with a preferred bachelor's degree and detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing or accounts payable.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and payments.

Responsibilities

• Process and review invoices accurately and timely.
• Prepare and submit customer invoices via email, portal, or other methods.
• Maintain timekeeping records and document invoice status notes.
• Respond to customer requests for weights, manifests, and invoice questions.
• Follow and update standard operating procedures for billing duties.
• Collaborate with Billing Specialists and Billing Manager to ensure coverage.
• Communicate invoice and pricing issues to relevant colleagues.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoice submissions to customers and generators.
