Job summary

Northern District Billing Clerk position at TNT-Crane- is responsible for creating invoices and credit memos, issuing them to customers by all necessary means, and updating customer files. You must be accurate and reliable in handling accounts and documents to safeguard the company’s income.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of billing experience, with a background in refineries or construction industries, and strong math, organizational skills, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of billing experience.
• Experience in billing refineries or construction industries.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced Accounting degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Issue invoices to customers.
• Draft invoice statements for customers and vendors.
• Issue monthly customer statements.
• Update accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information etc.
• Update customer files with issued invoices.
• Process credit memos.
• Create reports and present to managers.
• Track exceptions between the shipping log and invoice register.
• Manage debts or any other inconsistencies.
• Review accuracy of invoices prior to submission by performing various checks.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Provide management with daily status of completed functions.
• Communicate effectively within the company to resolve client inquiries.
