Covenant Logistics is hiring a Billing Specialist in Chattanooga to prepare, send, and reconcile customer invoices. You will update notes, ensure accuracy against BOLS, and respond to billing questions while maintaining weekly load/billing records. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in billing preferred.
• AS400 experience preferred.
• TMW experience preferred.
• Transportation industry experience preferred.
• Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Must be able to get along with others and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices accurately and timely.
• Update account notes for changing dedicated accounts.
• Verify numbers match to BOLS and reconcile with driver paperwork.
• Print and email/EDI invoices; address billing questions.
• Maintain weekly billed loads vs. errors spreadsheet.
• Ensure lumpers and unloads are invoiced.
• Support Billing Manager with audits and cross-train with colleagues.
