Job summary

The Fedcap Group is seeking a Billing Specialist in New York to oversee end-to-end billing for multiple contracts. The role involves generating invoices, maintaining trackers, and reviewing accounts receivable aging with emphasis on accuracy and timely customer follow-up.

Hybrid work arrangement offered: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, with a focus on ensuring contract terms are met and all billing is compliant and well-documented.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years’ experience of billing and invoice processing or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares invoices for all services provided in accordance with contracts.
• Compiles information to support monthly invoices for each contract.
• Research and resolve client billing questions.
• Prepares year-end invoices reflecting differences for contracts with additional services.
• Prepares fiscal and contract year-end financial reports for all contract locations.
• Prepares/reviews reports to manage unbilled charges.
• Completes reconciliations with variance explanations regularly.
• Assists with NYS CFR and related duties.

Job description

Position Summary:

The Billing Specialist is responsible for managing the billing process which includes understanding the customer contract and associated billing requirements, generating invoices, maintaining trackers, performing variance analysis reviews, and regularly reviewing the Accounts Receivable aging for customer payment follow up.

Compensation: $26-$28/hr

Scheduling: Monday To Friday,

Hybrid 3 Days Onsite, 2 remote

Responsibilities:

• Prepares invoices for all services provided in accordance with the terms and conditions of contracts.
• Compiles all information required to support the preparation and submission of monthly invoices for each contract.
• Research and resolve client billing questions.
• Prepares year-end invoices reflecting differences for each contract containing billings for additional services provided which reflect final price modifications.
• Prepares fiscal and contract year-end financial reports for all contract locations
• Prepares/reviews reports to help manage unbilled charges
• Completes reconciliations with variance explanations on a regular basis.
• Perform other related duties as assigned including assisting with the NYS CFR.

Qualifications:
