Job summary

Dynamic Engineering, a national multidisciplinary firm, seeks a billing-focused accounting professional in New Jersey to manage project accounting from setup to invoicing and collections. You will interface with project managers and clients, maintain contracts and change orders, and ensure timely, accurate billings.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative Billing team. Prior Deltek experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or a related field; equivalent experience considered
• Understanding of bookkeeping procedures
• Ability to communicate with project managers and clients via both phone and email
• Experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint is a plus, but not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of the Billing team
• Must be well organized with a high level of attention to detail
• Self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished and professional presence
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and have great follow-up skills

Responsibilities

• Provide project accounting support from initial project setup to executing client invoices
• Maintain executed contracts, signed proposals, purchase orders and change orders
• Interface with project managers and clients regarding contracts, monthly billings, payments, and other project-related financial processes and reports
• Reviews, processes and accounts for a large volume of project-related invoices for billing preparation and execution, ensuring contractual compliance, accurate project setup and timely invoicing
• Contacts clients for collection of payment as needed
• Researches and resolves invoice-related issues with both project managers and clients
• Performs other duties as requested

The salary range for this position is $21 - $26.50 / hr. The posted salary range reflects the anticipated hiring range for the position at the time of posting.
