Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field; 2+ years of legal billing experience, ideally in a law firm setting.
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and client policy compliance.
• Organized and efficient; able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative communicator with the ability to work with attorneys, clients, and finance teams.
• Adaptable and proactive; navigate challenges, solve problems, and communicate issues clearly.
• Tech-savvy; proficient in MS Office (Excel emphasized); experience with Elite 3E and eBillingHub preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Billing Cycle: manage proforma reviews through final invoice submission with accuracy and client guidelines.
• Drive Collections & Cash Flow: monitor AR, track payments, coordinate with attorneys/clients to resolve discrepancies.
• Handle complex billing issues: manage rate accommodations, high-level write-offs, client-specific requests.
• Master E-Billing: oversee LEDES/eBillingHub submissions and resolve rejections promptly.
• Partner with stakeholders: discuss billing strategy with partners, clients, and internal teams.
• Deliver exceptional service: be the go-to contact for billing inquiries and strengthen relationships.
