Job summary

Qualia, based in Austin, TX, is seeking a Billing Specialist to own core billing operations within the Revenue Operations team. You will process payments, generate invoices, manage credits, and ensure accurate and timely billing across diverse customer agreements.

You will partner with Deal Desk, Finance, Customer Success, Growth Management, and Engineering to maintain data integrity across the quote-to-cash lifecycle and resolve billing inquiries from internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in billing operations, accounts receivable, or revenue operations in a SaaS or subscription-based environment.
• Experience with subscription billing platforms (Ordway, Zuora, Chargebee, or similar) and integration with CRMs/ERPs.
• Strong command of Excel and Google Sheets; ability to analyze large datasets and build reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day billing operations and resolve inconsistencies to ensure accurate invoicing.
• Create invoices and billing materials for strategic accounts and monitor payment plans for timeliness.
• Manage credits, refunds, and adjustments; track credit history for internal teams.
• Lead collections for overdue accounts with professional, empathetic outreach and escalation when needed.
• Collaborate with Deal Desk, Finance, Customer Success, Growth, and Engineering to maintain data integrity.
