Lake Superior Consulting seeks a Billing Specialist for its Duluth or Minneapolis, MN office with the option to work remotely. You will manage accounts receivable and invoicing in Unanet, ensuring accurate client billings and providing project financial analytics.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• Experience with Unanet or similar billing systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and generate invoices based on pricing and terms with supporting docs.
• Identify opportunities to improve collections efficiency and client relationships.
• Assist with project coordination from JNR and WO through closeout.
• Perform revenue recognition analyses and support project forecasting and status reporting.
• Interface with clients for collections and ad hoc reporting requests.
• Assist month-end close with reconciliations and project cost tracking.
