Job summary

Addison Group in Herndon, VA is seeking a Billing Specialist for a Temp-to-Perm role. Position is primarily remote, with local on-site meetings as needed, and a 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. Compensation is $70,000–$85,000 annually.

You will manage complex billing across revenue streams, review agreements, perform reconciliations, and collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Sales to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 4+ years of progressively responsible billing or related finance experience.
• Experience reviewing customer agreements and applying terms to billing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven focus.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex billing and invoicing across multiple revenue streams.
• Review customer agreements, pricing terms, and billing schedules.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Sales to resolve issues.
• Analyze billing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare billing reports and support month-end close and reporting.
• Maintain billing controls, procedures, and documentation.
• Provide guidance to junior billing team members as needed.
