Schlaupitz Madhavan, P.C. in Troy, MI is seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst to support billing, collections, and accounting operations from our Troy office.

You will work with the Director of Operations to manage client billing lifecycle, AR monitoring, and month-end close, ensuring accurate financial data and efficient processes.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in accounting, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with QuickBooks or practice management systems.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of accounting, billing, or AR experience.
• Experience with billing, collections, and WIP.
• Experience with client account management and reporting.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage client billing lifecycle including WIP analysis, invoices, and billing adjustments.
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on past-due accounts, and manage client holds.
• Analyze WIP with engagement teams to improve revenue realization.
• Maintain accurate billing data and rates for clients and staff.
• Prepare monthly AR, WIP aging, realization, and other reports.
• Support month-end close with reconciliations and journal entries.
• Manage accounts payable processes including 1099s.
• Assist cash receipts, deposits, bank reconciliations, and other activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and special projects.
• Support Director of Operations and Managing Director as needed.
