Job summary

South Central Power Company, Ohio’s largest electric cooperative, seeks a Manager of Billing and Rates in Lancaster, OH. Hybrid remote work is eligible.

The role leads billing operations and rate administration, driving accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement across billing processes. You’ll oversee billing systems, analyze data for forecasting and financial planning, and collaborate across departments to resolve complex issues while ensuring compliant rate schedules and strong member

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• 3+ years in utility billing, rate administration, financial analysis or customer service management preferred.
• Supervisory/leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team focused on billing operations, rate administration and member service.
• Oversee accurate, timely billing and ensure clear, easy-to-understand bills for members.
• Drive process and technology improvements to enhance efficiency and billing accuracy.
• Manage utility rate implementation, billing systems, and vendor partnerships.
• Analyze billing, usage and revenue data to support forecasting and strategic decisions.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve complex billing issues and ensure compliance.
