South Central Power Company in Lancaster, Ohio, is seeking a Manager of Billing and Rates to lead our billing operations and rate administration, driving accuracy, efficiency and strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, at least three years in utility billing with supervisory experience, and proven leadership in data analysis, process improvement, and member service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• 3+ years in utility billing or related field, with supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team focused on billing operations, rate administration, and member service.
• Oversee accurate, timely billing and ensure members receive clear, easy-to-understand bills.
• Drive process and technology improvements that enhance efficiency, billing accuracy, and the member experience.
• Manage utility rate implementation, billing systems, and vendor partnerships.
• Analyze billing, usage, and revenue data to support forecasting, financial planning, and strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve complex billing issues and ensure compliance with policies and rate schedules.
