Givens Transportationis seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing/Payroll Clerkto support our Transportation team. The ideal candidate must be computer literate, with strong data entry skills, typing at least 40-50 words per minute with a high level of accuracy. A successful candidate is detail-oriented and will be able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate flexibility, with the ability to work extended hours when necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform strong data entry tasks such as order entry/receipt and billing associated with transportation operations
• Assist with the verification and processing of weekly payroll for transportation division to ensure payroll is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Provide customer service via phone and through email correspondence to resolve issues for internal and external customers.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and ability to process information from multiple sources to ensure accurate billing and payroll processing.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex issues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for reporting and data management.
• Previous experience and knowledge of transportation industry, particularly in drayage or truckload operations
