Malin is seeking an efficient Billing Specialist to join our billing operations. You will coordinate with sales, orders, and accounting to ensure accurate billing and timely invoicing.

You will work independently under pressure, perform billing across multiple systems, maintain commission and vendor invoice data, and support ad hoc projects with strong Excel and data entry skills. The role emphasizes clear communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement of billing processes.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Experience as a billing associate or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data entry, and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform the billing process using multiple accounting systems to generate customer invoices and update records.
• Ensure accurate commission calculation on sales files and maintain the commission database.
• Update sales database and monitor open customer orders to ensure timely billing.
• Process and verify accounts payable data entry for vendor invoices.
• Review and resolve issues with vendor invoices by corresponding with the vendors.
• Communicate with the sales departments to provide order status updates, resolve issues and provide clarification.
• Analyze all billing procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and update Excel spreadsheets as needed.
• Participate in ad hoc projects as needed.
