Job summary

Northwest-Respiratory-Service is seeking a Billing Operations Manager to lead the billing office, provide strategic direction, drive process improvements, and develop the team.

The role oversees daily operations of the billing department, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, claims, and payments, and coordinates with other departments to resolve discrepancies while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 6-8 years of management/leadership experience; 3-5 years of medical terminology/billing experience required.
• Experience in HME billing, processes, and workflow improvement preferred.
• Strong communication skills with clients and staff.
• Mathematical skills to perform basic calculations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct monthly financial reporting.
• Supervise and evaluate front-end billing staff.
• Recruit, hire and train personnel.
• Set work schedules and assignments based on workload and resources.
• Maintain computerized records and generate reports.
• Meet with staff to review performance and set goals.
• Ensure timely month-end close and accurate AR metrics.
• Act as escalation resource for Front End and Back End departments.
