Job summary

Dolby is seeking a Billing Operations leader to design and scale cloud billing for Dolby Cloud Services. You will own the billing operations strategy, align with Finance, Legal, Sales, Product, and Engineering, and drive order-to-cash excellence across global subscriptions.

You will optimize Zuora and related systems, implement AI-driven automations, ensure SOX-compliant controls, and lead a high-performing team through strategic initiatives from concept to deployment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing day-to-day Zuora billing operations, revenue operations, and order-to-cash in SaaS/cloud.
• Deep expertise in subscription/recurring revenue models including usage-based, tiered, and hybrid pricing.
• Experience configuring Zuora and related systems, automations, and data-driven process improvements.
• Understanding of SaaS/cloud business models and revenue recognition principles.
• Experience applying AI, automation, and intelligent workflows to billing operations.
• Ability to partner with Finance, Legal, Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive policy and process alignment.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional initiatives and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a scalable billing operations strategy aligned with growth for Dolby Cloud Services.
• Lead optimization of billing systems, automation, and processes to improve accuracy, scalability, and visibility.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive revenue recognition and order-to-cash efficiency.
• Drive strategic initiatives from concept through deployment including requirements, design, testing, and change management.
• Provide escalation leadership for complex billing issues and ensure timely, root-cause-driven resolutions.
• Evaluate and implement AI-powered tools and automation to modernize the billing ecosystem.
• Ensure SOX controls and regulatory compliance across billing processes.
