Generations Family Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Representative (Receptionist) in Putnam, CT. The role involves greeting patients, answering calls, scheduling appointments, collecting information, and posting procedures in a friendly, efficient manner.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team including dental and medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow, accurate data entry, and timely fee collection in a fast-paced health center setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education preferred.
• Typing and computer skills essential.
• Familiarity with medical/dental terminology and billing procedures is necessary; experience in a medical/dental office is helpful.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Generations Family Health Center, Inc. is a regional community health center covering a thirty-seven town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich and Putnam. Our dedicated staff provides a full range of primary care services to all ages including medical, dental and behavioral health care, as well as care coordination and community outreach. In addition to our main facilities, we offer mobile programs and School Based Health Centers.

Job Summary

Major job duties include greeting patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, obtaining information from patients, posting procedures, and collecting fees.
