Gerber National Claims Services, LLC is seeking a Billing Manager to oversee the closing of work orders from technicians and ensure compliance with insurer/customer requirements. The role demands excellent communication and strong organizational skills to manage daily processing and payments.

The ideal candidate will handle credit card payments, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with other departments on special projects while maintaining accuracy across assigned markets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with preferred completion.
• Proven ability to use Excel for data entry and reporting.
• Experience with Gmail for communication and scheduling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Close completed work orders from technicians.
• Ensure orders are processed daily for assigned markets.
• Follow up and apply customer payments as necessary.
• Process credit card payments and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Make account adjustments as needed and minimize rejections.
• Coordinate with other departments on special projects.
• Answer emails and phone requests; forward invoice requests.

Job Description:

The Billing Manager will be responsible for closing completed work orders sent by technicians, paying special attention to the insurance company or other customer requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Assures all orders are processed daily for assigned markets.
• Follow up and apply customer payments as necessary.
• Processes credit card payments.
• Researches and solves payment discrepancies.
• Makes adjustments to accounts as needed.
• Work with necessary departments to minimize rejections.
• Special projects as assigned.
• Answer emails and phone requests.
• Forward invoice requests to necessary parties.

Education and/or Experience Required

High School Graduate preferred.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Intermediate Excel experience
• Gmail experience
