• Our client is a private equity-backed, multi-site ophthalmology and optometry management services organisation (MSO) supporting a growing network of speciality eye care practices and ambulatory surgery centres.
• We provide centralised operational infrastructure, revenue cycle management, technology, training, and administrative support to our affiliated practices. It focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, improving operational performance, supporting practice growth, and creating a consistent patient and employee experience.

Position Overview

• The Billing Manager manages day-to-day revenue cycle operations for newly acquired practices, including revenue cycle training, process integration, and quality assurance.
• This individual will support the integration of acquired revenue cycle teams, optimise billing and collections, provide hands‑on training, and identify opportunities to improve financial performance, operational efficiency, compliance, and quality.

Maintain knowledge of HIPAA electronic transactions, including:

• In this role, you will manage claims processes such as remittance advice, eligibility verification, and claim status transactions while seeking opportunities to expand electronic HIPAA transactions. You are expected to monitor financial and productivity metrics, address performance gaps through coaching, and meet leadership expectations.
• You should have at least five years of leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, along with previous supervisory experience in accounts receivable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is proficiency in advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. A high school diploma is required, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree.
• Additionally, you must possess excellent organisational and communication skills, demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities, and be willing to travel for training and implementation at newly acquired practices. Maintaining confidentiality and a commitment to continuous improvement are critical. Physical requirements include the ability to sit for extended periods and perform light physical activities as needed.
