Job summary

RenalCare in Peoria, IL is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our growing physician-led office. This full-time role focuses on accurate claims submission, payment posting, and timely reimbursement for healthcare services while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

You will review patient accounts, resolve denials, and communicate billing inquiries with patients and insurance providers. Proficiency with EPIC or another EMR, billing software, and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in medical billing.
• Proficiency in billing software, databases or other financial tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and EPIC or another EMR system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting accurate claims to insurance companies, government payers and patients

Requirements
