Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp. is seeking a Billing Associate to support the Accounts Receivable team in the timely and accurate billing of local invoices. The role involves collecting all necessary information, calculating invoices, and ensuring customer balances are correct.

You will generate invoices through multiple channels, create credits and debits with proper approvals, and respond to customer questions regarding billing. Strong data entry and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or related field.
• Experience or familiarity with JD Edwards preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Billing of local invoices.
• Assemble all information to calculate invoices (orders, discounts).
• Verify data input in the accounting system for accuracy of final bill.
• Send invoices to customers via various channels (EDI, email).
• Create credits and debits; ensure proper authorization.
• Respond to customer inquiries and inquiries about bills.
• Maintain filing of Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate billing; suggest process improvements.
