Job summary

Metronome is seeking a senior Solutions Architect to drive successful customer implementations of our usage-based billing platform. You’ll own complex discovery, design integration patterns, and guide customers from first contact through post-implementation handoff.

You’ll partner with sales, product, and R&D, travel ~30% to client sites, and mentor teams while shaping GTM playbooks and reusable assets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technical and/or customer-facing SaaS roles.
• Deep knowledge of quote-to-cash and integrations with Salesforce, NetSuite, CPQs, Billing, Tax, Payments.
• Experience leading complex, multi-phase technology transformations for enterprise clients.
• Experience in fast-moving startup environments with high agency.
• Ability to translate technical concepts to GTM, finance, and go-to-market stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel about 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Understand client challenges in pricing, packaging, quote-to-cash, and related areas.
• Lead multiple implementation phases: requirements, design, integration, testing, data migration, launch.
• Provide expert guidance on usage-based pricing models.
• Configure Metronome systems for clients and design integrations to align with best practices.
• Serve as liaison between field, R&D, and client stakeholders to advocate for needs.
