Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations/precertifications for all scheduled appointments for new and established patients.
• Answer calls related to billing inquiries and provide resolution.
• Generate insurance verification and precertification reports as requested.
• Research and resolve patient billing inquiries using Passport, Artiva, Onbase and Host.
• Assist patients with payment arrangements and charity applications.
• Maintain logs of each call and notes for patient encounters.
• Assist in cash handling and point-of-service collections when applicable.
