Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• College Status: You must be currently enrolled in a degree program related to the field — or have recently graduated with a relevant degree.
• Typically expected to have completed at least 2 years of college coursework, especially for co‑op roles.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written), especially for working with both technical and non‑technical teams.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Customer service orientation and a collaborative mindset.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Strong passion for technology and cybersecurity
• Prior internship, co‑op, or on or off‑campus technical experience preferred, but not required
• Participation in extracurricular or leadership activities.
• Prior internship, co‑op, or technical project experience is a plus but not always required

Responsibilities

• Work with the Berkley Billing Engineering team to understand and implement automated testing and monitoring.
• Interns are embedded within their teams and gain exposure to real‑world IT environments, tools, and workflows.
• Assist with troubleshooting hardware/software issues, configuring systems, and supporting installations, moves, and upgrades.
• Contribute to projects such as software development, cybersecurity, data analysis, or infrastructure support.
• Provide end‑user support and resolve service tickets.
• Document and analyze IT processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate across teams in cross‑functional meetings.
• Present project outcomes and reflect on learning at program end.
