Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be enrolled in a degree program related to the field — or have recently graduated.
• Typically expected to have completed at least 2 years of college coursework, especially for co‑op roles.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written), especially for working with both technical and non‑technical teams.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Customer service orientation and a collaborative mindset.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Strong passion for technology and cybersecurity.
• Prior internship, co‑op, or on or off‑campus technical experience preferred, but not required
• Participation in extracurricular or leadership activities.
• Prior internship, co‑op, or technical project experience is a plus but not always required

Responsibilities

• Support Technical Operations including troubleshooting hardware/software issues, configuring systems, and supporting installations, moves, and upgrades.
• Contribute to projects that align with the academic background and team objectives, including software development, cybersecurity, data analysis, or infrastructure support.
• Provide end‑user support and resolve service tickets with a customer‑service mindset.
• Document and analyze IT processes, assist in testing and implementation, and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate across teams, participate in meetings, and contribute to shared deliverables.
• Interns are embedded in their teams and gain exposure to real‑world IT environments, tools, and workflows.
• Mentorship and coaching to guide development and integration into the team.
• Presentation and reflection: present project outcomes and learnings to BTS leadership.
