Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Data Entry Clerk - Billing II in Irving, TX to support billing operations. The position runs Monday to Friday, 7:00AM–3:30PM Central, with occasional travel to the Regent Blvd location and potential overtime.

Responsibilities include data entry, researching missing information, and communicating with clients and carriers to resolve billing issues. 1+ year of billing and customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of customer service experience in a billing or office setting.
• 1+ years of Billing Knowledge and Insurance Payor Knowledge.
• Proficiency with computers and Windows applications, including keyboard/navigation.

Responsibilities

• Research, obtains and enters missing information for completion of accessions.
• Conducts data entry for completion of accessions.
• Educates external customers on how to provide complete billing information.
• Informs customers of billing problems and resolutions as appropriate.
• Make outbound calls to clients, patients, carriers to obtain missing information.
• Answer inbound calls to answer account inquiries or resolve issues.
• Responds to account inquiries through written correspondences if needed.
• Maintains timely documentation for all transactions.
• Generates and distributes reports to obtain missing information.
• Travel to office occasionally based on business need; overtime/weekends may be required.
