Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of customer service experience in customer services, phone support role, or medical billing office.
• 1+ years of Billing Knowledge, Billing Data Entry, Strong Customer Service Skills, and Insurance Payor Knowledge
• Proficient with Windows PC software and navigation.
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet schedule and training requirements.
• Successful completion of new hire training.

Aufgaben

• Research, obtain, and enter missing information for completion of accessions.
• Conduct data entry for completion of accessions.
• Demonstrates competency in eligibility, billing and receivable systems.
• Educates external customers on providing complete billing information.
• Inform customers of billing problems and resolutions as appropriate.
• Make outbound calls to clients, patients, carriers, or others to obtain missing information.
• Answer inbound calls to resolve account inquiries and issues.
• Responds to inquiries in writing if needed and maintains documentation.
