The role requires 1+ year of billing or customer service experience, with strong PC skills and the ability to work Monday through Friday, with potential overtime. Competitive hourly pay begins at $18+ per hour and includes benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of customer service experience in billing or medical office.
• 1+ years of Billing Knowledge and Insurance Payor Knowledge.
• Strong keyboard and PC navigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, obtain and enter missing information for accessions.
• Conduct data entry for completion of accessions.
• Educates external customers on how to provide complete billing information.
• Inform customers of billing problems and resolutions.
• Make outbound calls to clients and others to obtain missing information.
• Answer inbound calls to address account inquiries or resolve issues.
• Respond to account inquiries in writing if needed.
• Maintain documentation for transactions.
• Generate and distribute reports for missing information.
• Report problems and PHI breaches to management.
• Travel to office if needed.
• May work overtime or weekends.
