Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking a patient services representative to serve as the first contact for call escalations, assisting patients, insurers and representatives with friendly, efficient service.

You will relay messages to the appropriate teams, participate in billing coordination, and ensure patient information remains confidential under HIPAA regulations. The role includes a typical 11 am–7 pm PST schedule and offers growth opportunities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Serve as first point of contact for call escalations, providing friendly and efficient service to patients, insurance companies and their representatives.
• Relay messages to appropriate team members or departments using multiple software applications.
• Assist with coordinating incoming and outgoing billing requests, ensuring timely sorting, facilitating responses and follow-ups.
• Ensure all patient information is kept confidential and secure in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

• Serve as the first point of contact for call escalations, from patients via phone, email and other internal
  communication platforms, providing friendly and efficient service to patients, insurance companies and their representatives.
• Relay messages from requesters to appropriate team members or departments utilizing multiple software
  applications. Reviewing requester concerns for escalation.
• Assist with coordinating incoming and outgoing billing requests, ensuring timely sorting, facilitating
  responses and follow-ups.
• Ensure all patient information is kept confidential and secure in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  *Minimum 70 accounts worked per day

Team Collaboration and Support:

• Participate in regular team meetings via video or teleconference.
• Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer
  populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service.
  Utilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations.

HOURS: 11 am-7 pm PST
