Job summary

Valley Health System in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking a Billing Coordinator to support and coordinate the billing and financial functions for the Practice, serving both patients and physicians. The role requires at least 2 years of physician billing, accounts receivable and collections experience, with prior professional fee/office billing and coding experience.

Strong math and communication skills are essential. Work is day shift at Kraft Center.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; in lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience required.
• Minimum 2 years physician billing, accounts receivable and collections experience.
• Experience with professional fee/office practice billing; coding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the billing and financial functions of the Practice for patients and physicians.

Experience

Skills

Strong communication skills and Math skills. Ability to operate general office equipment and computers. Competent in Microsoft Excel software. Ability to work well under pressure, tolerate frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule. Ability to set priorities, effective problem solving of complex situations, organized.
