TK Elevator in Atlanta, GA seeks a National Accounts Billing Coordinator to manage invoicing for maintenance, repair, and extras across multiple contracts. You will ensure timely billing, coordinate with branches and sales teams, and resolve discrepancies to support accurate revenue recognition.

The ideal candidate will have GAAP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and Oracle ERP experience, plus 1+ year in National Accounts or similar.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in National Accounts or similar industry and college degree preferred
• 3+ years in B2B/B2C environment preferred
• 1+ year of ERP system experience
• Basic knowledge of GAAP accounting policies and procedures
• Proficient with Excel and complex spreadsheets
• Basic Word processing skills

Responsibilities

• Invoice accurately and timely for multiple LOBs per contractual guidelines
• Identify discrepancies between invoices and billing system and resolve
• Follow up on work/purchase orders until invoicing is complete
• Collaborate with National Account Sales, Work Order Coordinators, and branches
• Review contract language for billing, pricing, compliance
• Perform root cause analysis on disputes and resolve credits or updates
• Research account issues to support remittance and revenue recognition
• Respond to inquiries and ensure data consistency across systems

• Update client information within operational guidelines

TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced National Accounts Billing Coordinator in Atlanta, GA.

The National Accounts Billing Coordinator is responsible for submitting maintenance, repair, and extras invoices via the guidelines and method outlined in customer contracts as well as managing Preventive Maintenance Work Orders. All invoicing is done based on customer requirements. Duties include ensuring all invoicing is correct and timely to the customer.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Invoice accurately and timely for multiple LOBs per contractual guidelines, including submission via Work Order or Purchase Order system and email.

• Independently identify discrepancies between invoices and customer billing system information; submit to appropriate department for resolution and follow up as needed until completion.

• Follow up on work and/or purchase orders until completion of invoicing or cancelation.

• Collaborate with multiple departments, including National Account Sales, Work Order Coordinators, and branches to research and resolve customer issues.

• Review requirements for invoicing; coordinate with the appropriate department to obtain necessary backup and/or information for billing.

• Process all workorder tasks in various portals including invoicing and closing

• Review contract language for billing, pricing, compliance, etc to ensure contracts setups are correct and invoices are in line with the terms.

• Perform root cause analysis on disputes and submit requests including credits, contract updates, etc needed to resolve the root cause.

• Research and resolve customer account issues and ensure billing system and reconciliations are updated timely and accurately to support customer remittance and proper revenue recognition for assigned accounts.

• Examine and respond to questions/inquiries and ensure information across all databases is accurate and consistent.

• Participate, as needed, in customer meetings to resolve billing and associated accounts receivable issues.

• Respond to client/account management requests to update/change client information and ensure that all changes are made within operational guidelines and accurately supports all other system related functions.

• Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• 1+years experience in National Accounts or similar industry experience and college degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

• 3+ experience in a business-to-business and/or business-to-consumer environment preferred

• 1+year of Oracle or other ERP system experience

• Basic knowledge of GAAP standard accounting policies and procedures

• Proficient to advanced skills with Excel, including the creation and navigation of complex spreadsheets.

• Basic Word processing skills.

• Ability to analyze and solve problems.

• Capable of performing required tasks independently and contribute as needed in a team environment.

• Excels in fast paced environment and adapts well to change.

• Knowledge of accounts receivable procedures and practices.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of billing procedures and practices.

• Ability to reconcile and research in a timely manner.
