Job summary

Anchor Fabrication in La Vergne, TN is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team on 2nd shift. You will process customer invoices, verify shipping documentation, and maintain accurate billing records to support timely billing operations.

The role requires strong Excel/Outlook skills, excellent organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with ERP software is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous billing, invoicing, administrative, accounting, or clerical experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Verify shipment paperwork, packing slips, bills of lading, and other supporting documentation.
• Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve invoice-related issues.
• Enter and maintain billing data within company systems.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal departments regarding billing questions.
• Review orders and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
• Assist with reporting, recordkeeping, and other administrative duties as assigned.
• Support Accounts Receivable and Accounting teams with billing-related activities.
