Job summary

SunBelt Xpress / SunBelt Furniture Xpress Inc. is seeking a Billing Clerk to efficiently process billing for fulfilled sales orders. The role focuses on fast and accurate data entry, applying correct freight charges from bills of lading, and posting detailed billing information to customer accounts.

You will verify data against sales records to ensure accurate invoices. The position is a Monday–Friday, second-shift role with potential overtime and weekend work based on daily volume.

• Retrieve sales information and work on system queue of customers to be billed for the day's billing cycle.
• Facilitate billing by inputting accurate information from the bills of lading so that the accurate freight charges can be applied.
• Post accurate information regarding driver collect accounts, hold accounts, customer call-aheads, special-handling inspects, etc. to accounts.
• Enter all mandatory information into the billing system in order to generate the invoice.
• Review all information to ensure they match sales information before finalizing the invoice.

• Retrieve sales information and work on system queue of customers to be billed for the day's billing cycle.

Work Schedule

This is primarily a Monday ' Friday 2nd shift position 1:00pm based on volume and concludes when all bills for the day are entered. Occasional mandatory overtime and/or weekend work may be required.
