Qualifications

• Experience billing and reconciliation of patient charges in a hospital setting.
• Familiar with reviewing medication charges and using the CDM.
• Ability to document and follow regulatory standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records and charges to validate medication billing.
• Resolve billing questions related to medications with hospital staff.
• Audit daily error reports and correct issues in the medication billing system.
• Input and verify patient charges in billing systems for formulary and non-formulary items.
• Analyze financial reports for the pharmacy department and present findings to management.
• Provide clerical support including scheduling, filing, and coordinating department activities.
