This role supports pharmacy billing and reconciliation activities for inpatient and outpatient medication charges , ensuring accuracy and timely completion of billing processes. Responsibilities include r eviewing patient accounts to identify and resolve billing discrepancies, assisting with charge audits, maintaining billing records, and providing administrative support to the department through scheduling, filing, coordination of activities, and customer service.
This position is scheduled for Monday through Friday , working eight-hour day shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Hire On Incentive up to $2,500 available. Recruiter to provide these details during the interview process. Enjoy a flat rate $1/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-night shift differential when applicable.

This position is responsible for billing and reconciliation of patient charges for medications and IV solutions for inpatients and outpatients. This includes meeting established deadlines for completion of all phases of billing and reconciliation. Reviews patient charts to identify and correct billing issues associated with high cost single charges or high cost total patient charges. Uses the company's Charge Description Master (CDM) to review billings and charges associated with medications for internal billing auditors. Routinely interacts with a variety of hospital departments. Serves as clerical and administrative resource for the department with duties that may include reception, scheduling, filing, and coordination of department activities.
