Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Billing Customer Service Representative to support members with billing questions and payment plans in a fast-paced call center. You will handle 50 to 70 calls daily, provide empathetic guidance, and resolve escalated issues while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

After training, you may work shifts within 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM ET, with a path to full-time deployment in a nationwide center. Benefits include health, retirement plans, and career growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a high-volume call center handling inquiries.
• 2+ years in a medical/healthcare setting analyzing and resolving concerns.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims billing, finance, and eligibility processes.
• Ability to translate healthcare jargon into simple steps for customers.
• Able to work any nine-hour shift among Monday–Friday ET business hours.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of calls regarding patient bill balances and payment plans.
• Evaluate and respond to billing inquiries and update invoices.
• Research and resolve complex billing issues and customer complaints.
• Navigate the Quest Billing System and related applications.
• Maintain logs of all patient contacts and support ongoing projects.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations at all times.
