Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or higher required.
• Exposure to and a basic understanding of billing processes.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including basic formulas and working with data.
• Experience working with large volumes of data in Excel or similar systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Professional, dependable, punctual, and self-motivated approach.
• Ability to learn new information and procedures on a regular basis.
• Familiarity with standard office equipment and technology.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow applicable privacy requirements.

Aufgaben

• Process billing for assigned accounts and payers.
• Follow up consistently on claims, rejected claims, and denied claims.
• Investigate billing denials and resolve claims for payment.
• Maintain accounts receivable spreadsheets, balances, and related records.
• Research and resolve billing and claims issues with outside agencies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to address consumer billing concerns.
• Follow established billing procedures for all assigned tasks.
• Report payer-related issues to senior team members and the Billing Supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Complete data entry and other duties assigned by the Billing Supervisor.
