Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York is seeking a Billing Assistant to support billing coordinators, attorneys, and staff with complex invoicing, time entry review, and client billing processes.
The role requires accuracy, discretion, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. The position is non-exempt and overtime-eligible; base salary is aligned with NY market ranges. A High School diploma is required; BA is a plus, with familiarity in 3E and E-Billing Hub preferred.
Under general supervision, the Billing Assistant is responsible for assisting billing coordinators, attorneys, and other non-legal staff with complex billing assignments and related billing inquiries. Responsibilities include preparation of client invoices, invoice processing, data maintenance and related administrative duties.
Salary Information
NY Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 at the time of posting.
The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is non-exempt meaning it is overtime pay eligible.
