Job summary

UIC Commercial Services is seeking a detail-oriented Billing & AR Specialist to support operations by handling most billing and AR functions and producing financial statements. You will assist with project administration, cost reviews, invoicing, and month-end close.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, at least three years of accounting and project accounting experience, and strong Excel and Office skills. Proficiency in Sage 300 is preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of three years accounting experience, including project accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel; strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily project administration and documentation.
• Review project costs weekly and assist with month-end close.
• Prepare and review invoicing with PMs and coordinators monthly.
• Review requisitions, POs and subcontracts as needed.
• Monitor aging reports and assist with collections.

Education

BA/BS in Accounting or Finance

Three years accounting experience
